Shinyribs es una banda estadounidense de country-soul , funky swamp de Austin, Texas .
Shinyribs comenzó en 2007 como un proyecto paralelo en solitario del cantante / guitarrista Kevin Russell, en ese momento miembro de la banda de Austin, The Gourds . Al principio, "Shinyribs" se refería a Russell personalmente en relación con sus exposiciones individuales, pero Russell luego se presentó bajo el nombre "Shinyribs" en una banda con otros músicos, como el compañero de banda de Gourds, el baterista Keith Langford.
